Founded as a non-profit company of the German Society of Aviation and Space Medicine (DGLRM).

Across EASA

The Basic and Advanced Courses are recognised by the German Federal Aviation Authority on behalf of all EASA member states.

Advisory Board

A Scientific Advisory Board with professors from institutions including the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine, the Heart Centre, the Air Force and TU Berlin.

Science & research

The Academy supports aeromedical research and early-career scientists.

  • Berblinger Prize

    The Albrecht Ludwig Berblinger Prize is a €10,000 science award for outstanding work in aviation medicine.

  • Research funding

    Financial support for scientific projects in aviation and travel medicine.

  • Scholarships

    Scholarships primarily for international physicians who do not have the necessary financial means.
