About the course
As part of its training programme, the Academy offers modules that fulfil the legal and professional requirements for theoretical training as an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) under EASA AMC1 MED.D.010.
The course also establishes the prerequisites for the additional qualification in aviation medicine and the travel medicine certificate under the applicable training regulations.
Medical examinations of private pilots (Class 2) and LAPL holders require recognition as an Aviation Medical Examiner by the competent aviation authority.
The aeromedical course provides the theoretical prerequisites and is recognised by all EASA member states.
